Morning
Fulfill your breakfast, and our guide will pick you up at around 08:00 for an exploring adventure at Cu Chi Tunnels.
Have an overview of the war story at the Cu Chi Tunnels through a film and a guide's narration on how and why the structure was built.
Then walk into the jungle to see traps, bunkers, secret entrances, and underground hideouts.
We have a chance to discover the life of soldiers during the Vietnam War by going down the underground tunnel, watching experimental gun shooting skills. Delicious green tea and cassava will be served for you.
We will have a light lunch on the way back to Ho Chi Minh.
Afternoon
We continue sightseeing at well-known historical landmarks in Ho Chi Minh city center.
Visit the Independence Palace, the official residence and working place of the President of the Republic of Vietnam, before April 30, 1975. Today, this place is considered a monument of Vietnam's Independence and reunification.
Our next destinations are the Old Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, both famous for the typical French colonial architecture they display.
Then we will go to The War Remnants Museum where they provide artifacts recording a fierce Vietnam War. At the final destination, Ben Thanh Market, you will be given a chance to learn about local life and culture as well as go shopping.
When back to your hotel after a long day, the rest of the day is yours.
NOTE: The Notre Dame Cathedral might not be included in the itinerary due to its renovation.

The Cu Chi Tunnels were definitely a highlight for me - it was fascinating to learn about the history and see the tunnels up close. The Mekong Delta tour was also great - we got to see the floating markets and try some delicious local food.
