Meet your guide at 8:00 and spend the whole day exploring the charming capital of Vietnam:

• Visit the Temple of Literature, the First University of Vietnam since 1070. It was built to honor Confucius (Khong Tu).
• The next stop is One Pillar Pagoda, with a unique pillar structure that looks like a lotus blooming in the center of Linh Chieu Pond.
• Go to Ho Chi Minh Complex and explore Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & his stilt house to learn more about the ultimate leader of Vietnam. 

    Travel to the ancient Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda & strolling around the beautiful West Lake.

NOTE: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Monday and Friday. It’s also closed from June - August for renovation.

Have lunch at a restaurant serving traditional Vietnamese cuisine and rest briefly.



Afternoon

Visit the Museum of Ethnology - a unique museum devoted to Vietnam's 54 officially recognized ethnic groups. Here, you will be able to view artifacts, films, and photographs of clothing, farming implements,... that describe the daily lives, customs, and habits of many ethnic minorities in Vietnam.

16:30: The tour ends. Returning to Hanoi's Old Quarter, it's time to say bye to our guide. 

Optional: You can choose a one-hour cyclo tour to discover more or watch a water puppet show - a unique Vietnam Art about wet-rice culture.

8:00 - 8:30: Our driver will transfer you to Halong for a cruise in 2 days. 

11:00 - 12:00: Arrive at the pier, check in, and embark on the overnight vessel to explore the magnificent Halong Bay.

Enjoy a delicious lunch with fresh seafood while sailing among the majestic limestone islands.

Afternoon

Join a different itinerary for each Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long, or Lan Ha Bay cruise. Enjoy many fun activities such as kayaking, swimming, and cave visiting.

(You can choose your preferred cruise while booking with us.)

17:30: Return on board and participate in the sunset party and Vietnamese cooking class onboard, or simply admire the gorgeous sunset on the sundeck.

Evening

Have a nice dinner at the restaurant.

Enjoy night entertainment: night movie, squid fishing, karaoke, etc.

Morning

Join in Tai Chi Class in the early morning or relax on the sundeck to welcome the pretty sunrise on the bay.

Take a cup of coffee or tea and have breakfast, then explore the surrounding islands by rowboat or kayak (depending on the itinerary).

Brunch time. Enjoy your meal while the cruise returns to the harbor.

11:00 - 12:00: Disembark, our driver will pick up & transfer you back to Hanoi.

Stay overnight in Hanoi. You can explore the beautiful Hanoi Old Quarter by yourself.

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel. Pack your luggage and transfer to Mai Chau - a small but pretty town in Northern Vietnam.

On the way, you can see the majestic mountain and valley that create such refreshing scenery for your eyes. Let’s enjoy the rural countryside landscape there.  Then get to the impressive Thung Khe Pass for a panoramic view of Mai Chau.

Have lunch with the White Thai Tribe's family and chat with the villagers here.


Afternoon

Participated in a trekking tour to explore some tranquil villages and visit the ethnic Thai people. 

You will have a chance to get closer to the local people’s lives in the mountainous area while also witnessing the stunning scenery of Mai Chau.

Return to homestay and help the host for preparing the traditional dinner.

Evening

Enjoy an interesting live dance & music performance from the locals and have a tasty meal.

Morning

After having breakfast, take a short drive to Moc Chau and visit the vast and green Vietnamese tea gardens here, which are perfect for fantastic photos.

Then, continue transfer to Dien Bien Phu.

Go through Pha Din Pass, the natural border of Dien Bien and Son La. This is one of the greatest passes in the Northwest, famous for its craggy, winding curves that bring majestic beauty but are also full of poetic charm.

Afternoon

Arrive at Dien Bien Phu, famous for the beauty of the wild nature and the battleground associated with Vietnam's illustrious Dien Bien Phu victory.

Travel to your hotel and have a much-needed rest after a long drive.

Morning

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then get ready to explore Dien Bien Phu - the historical destination, remarked on the victory of the Vietnam War in 1954 to end French colonialization.

First, you will visit the local market of Thai tribes and learn about their culture and farm products.

Next, follow the guide to discover the military base in The Command of Dien Bien Phu Campaign in the forest of Muong Phang.

Afternoon

Visit Dien Bien Phu Museum and look at its unique structure that looks like a Vietnamese soldier hat. 

Take your time to watch more than 1000 artifacts as well as many pictures and documents, all of which related to the resistance war against the French colonialists.

Transfer to A1 Hill - the bunker of French General De Castries and where fierce battles occurred.

Get back to your hotel and relax.

You will have free time to enjoy your last day in Dien Bien.

Transfer to Tay Trang Border Gate to access Laos.

After taking immigration and customs processes, transfer to Muang Khua - a border town in Phongsali Province, at the border between Nam Ou & Nam Phak Rivers.

After an early lunch in Muang Khua, travel to Nong Khiaw - the most scenic rural town in northern Laos.

Arrive at your hotel. Check-in and free at leisure for the remainder of the day.

Evening

Explore the peaceful town on your own. Strolling around the surrounding area and trying some delicious local cuisine.

Morning & Afternoon

After breakfast, we will drive to Luang Prabang, a UNESCO Heritage City with spectacular mountains and colonial buildings in North Laos.

Along the way, we will stop to visit Pak Ou Caves, a mysterious cave with many Buddha statues. The latest research shows about 4,000 statues here, 1,500 in the upper cave, Tam Pum, and 2,500 in the main cave, Tam Ting.

Continue the trip down to the city of Luang Prabang. This former royal capital, with its gleaming temple roofs, fading colonial architecture, and stunning mountain backdrop, retains a unique charm rarely found in all of Asia. 

Arrive at your hotel. Let’s check-in and have a rest.

Have the whole night free for yourself. You can visit the Old Quarter, go shopping in the night market, or try local food.

Wake up early this morning to participate in the most sacred tradition of Laos: the alms-giving ritual, where many monks depart from various temples to gather their daily meals from the faithful residents sitting quietly on the streets.

Back to the hotel to have breakfast and be ready to explore the most beautiful spots of Luang Prabang:

• Visit the Royal Palace Museum, also called the National Museum, which used to be the residence of the Lao royal family and hosts a wide range of interesting artifacts.
• Head to the magnificent Wat XiengThong (Temple of Golden City), with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Laotian architecture.
• Take a look at the Traditional Art & Ethnology Center to learn about the many Lao ethnic groups. 

Afternoon

After lunch, transfer to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall, where you can cool off with a refreshing pool swim or walk along the forest trails for the rest of the afternoon.

If you wish, you can see Asiatic bears up close at the Bear Rescue Centre along the jungle, walk to the waterfall, or go to the Butterfly Park.

Return to Luang Prabang and ascend the 329 steps to the top of Phousi Hill for a beautiful sunset view of the city and its glowing reflection on the Mekong River.

After breakfast, go to Phonsavan's Central Market and buy some souvenirs if you like.

Then, you will visit the MAG exhibition, which displays items of unexploded weapons and documentaries about wartime in Laos.

Explore three sites of great stone wonders at Plain of Jars, a megalithic archaeological structure with thousands of stone jars gathering in numbered clusters throughout the Xieng Khouang plain.

Afternoon

Join a tour of the ancient capital Muang Khoun and nearby Hmong & Thai Dam villages and take this chance to glimpse the daily life of its inhabitants.

Return to your hotel.

After breakfast, prepare your luggage and take a domestic flight to the Vientiane Capital.

Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for checking in. Have a lovely rest before the afternoon tour. 

Afternoon

Meet your guide and start the excursion to discover the must-visit places in Vientiane:

• Take a sightseeing tour to Vientiane's oldest Buddhist temple - Wat Si Saket 
• Head to Haw Pha Kaew, the royal temple famous for its Emerald Buddha and now used as a museum.
• Transfer to Pha That Luang - the great stupa & sacred reliquary. It has become a national symbol of Laos and gets printed on banknotes and national emblems of the Lao.
• Stop at the Victory Gate of Laos - Patuxai - a war monument in the center of Vientiane.

Evening

Enjoy the nightlife in Vientiane and relax at your leisure.
