by TripadvisorWe organised with the brilliant Mia Nguyen at Best Price travel for a 3 day, 2 night tour with Orchid cruises on their nostalgia boat. Mia’s help and organisation was brilliant. Due to the typhoon we had to change plans but she was helpful, friendly and organised throughout. We genuinely could not have asked for more from her. The boat was clean, comfortable and with some absolutely brilliant staff. We are well, plenty of options and lots of food available. The trips we took from the boat were even better than expected. An amazing experience.

What truly impressed us was Tansy's proactive approach. She not only provided a comprehensive Excel itinerary but also remained easily reachable throughout our trip, ready to address any concerns. In Hanoi, when we encountered a minor hiccup with our hotel, Hang swiftly intervened, securing us an upgrade without hesitation.

This 7-day luxury tour was perfect for us. We enjoyed every moment, from exploring Hanoi and Ninh Binh to climbing Ngoa Long Mountain with my siblings. The highlight was our visit to Halong Bay, which was simply incredible. The Mon Cheri Cruise experience was exceptional, and they surprised us with a beautiful wedding anniversary celebration both on the cruise and at the Hanoi Pearl Hotel, making our trip truly magical with Anna’s excellent assistance.
Our tour guide, Quyen Vu (Tony), was fantastic, and our driver was equally great. The food in Vietnam was delicious, especially the meals at the hotels and on the Mon Cheri cruise, where Tammy and her staff provided outstanding service.
The only minor downside was the traffic in Vietnam, where cars and motorcycles often ignored red lights. Despite that, I want to thank Anna for her excellent work in making this tour memorable and unforgettable for me, my husband, my sisters, my brothers, and our friends. Kudos to Anna and Bestrate Travel!

The itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to immerse in the beauty of ancient Hanoi and the stunning Halong Bay. We had a chance to have a hand-ons experience in Bat Trang.
The accommodations were cozy and family-friendly, providing the perfect retreat after exciting days of exploration.
Lastly, I have to shout out to the guides. They had to be really familiar with family as guests, they were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and fun, making every moment enjoyable ad comfortable for the whole family.
This trip was truly unforgettable, and we can't wait to return to explore more of the beauty that Northern Vietnam has to offer!
