After checking in at the port, the boat crew gives you a warm greeting with a cool drink when you get on the cruise.
At around 12:00, the cruise begins with boarding. Enjoy the boat and the delectable on-board lunch with fresh seafood from the area while witnessingthousands of islets and limestone islands emerge from the emerald sea.

You'll participate in various activities aboard the boat to explore the bay's splendor, such as swimming in the sea, kayaking, and exploring caves, depending on the program of each cruise.
A delectable onboard dinner will be provided for you at the opulent restaurant in the evening.
Enjoy a variety of evening activities while spending the night on the boat, such as squid fishing, movie nights, board games, and more.

First of all, a big THANK YOU!! for a wonderful experience. The hotels choice was great as a matter of fact, better than expected. The food was abundant and delicious and also gave us a good idea about the local cuisine.
Typhoon Yagi showed up but did not ruin our plans. We enjoyed Halong Bay and despite the damage in Hanoi we manage to enjoy the Water Puppet show and visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
You asked what can improve on an already excellent tour. I think that on free days most people would like to have some options that they can pick and pay outside the tour. That is what cruise lines do. In Saigon we asked our guide for a tour of the Cu Chi tunnels and he was able to organize it for the afternoon after the city tour. It was worth the effort and money.
We enjoyed the cultural shows and under the suggestion of Mr. Tuan in Hoi An we saw a fantastic show that night. A list of potential cultural activities in the different cities that we visited, if known ahead of time, would help to plan what to do in the evenings.
In summary this was an unforgettable experience. We loved the landscape, the people, friendly and courteous, the culture, the shows and the food. The only thing we all would add is more time!

The tour guides have been phenomenal. Compared to other tours we've done around the world, the tour guides here have been incredibly engaging and helpful to us. They've helped makw this trip become the perfect introduction trip to Vietnam. My two favorite guides have been Hung in Halong and David in Mekong.
We've also gotten a couple massages in Vietnam, and that has been great to add in some relaxation to the trip.

The best part of the tour was undoubtedly Halong Bay. Cruising amidst the towering limestone karsts and emerald waters was a truly magical experience, made even more memorable by the breathtaking sunset and sunrise views.

We are a 3 generation family with 5 members.
We booked our Vietnam holiday with BestPrice Travel.
Found their travel consultants Minah and Hang very knowledgeable and responsive. Designed an excellent itinerary for us over 10 days... to Hanoi, Halong Bay, Danang, Hoi An.
Advised and drew up detailed plans based on our requirements. And everything ran smoothly. Whenever we had questions during the trip, Hang would answer my numerous emails very promptly, even late at night and over the weekends. Amazed at their work ethic.
The tours we liked best were taking the military jeep tour to Train Street, Hidden Gem cafe and visiting the war veteran's home.
Food was excellent, especially the evening Food Tour.
We stayed at Hanoi Pearl, Sol A Bang Beach Resort and Little Riverside Hoi An. All very good.
We had a 3 day 2 night cruise on Peony Cruises and it was exceptional.
And in Hoi An we took the basket boats, such fun.
All our tour guides, especially guide Tom and driver Phoc in Hanoi were so good.
During the trip, we had a dental problem and Hang was quick to research and recommend an excellent dentist to treat us. On a Sunday and new year’s eve. So grateful to her.

The Cu Chi Tunnels were definitely a highlight of the trip. The tunnels were used by the Vietnamese soldiers during the war and it was fascinating to see how they lived and fought underground. It was certainly a humbling experience.

Hoi An was another gem of Central Vietnam. The ancient town was full of history and charm. I could have spent hours wandering around the streets and admiring the beautiful architecture. The local cuisine was simply amazing.
The Halong Bay scenery was breathtaking, and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The boat was comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a great way to end the trip.

I love how the itinerary had everything - we got to see some cool historical sites, explore some beautiful countryside, hit up some vibrant cities, and of course, stuff our faces with amazing food. Some of my favorite parts were biking around the Mekong Delta and trying all the fruit, checking out Hoi An and its street food and light shows, and the overnight cruise in Halong Bay. Kayaking and squid fishing were definitely the highlights of that experience!
Overall, it was such an incredible trip and we're so grateful We're already telling all our friends and family that they need to check out this itinerary!

My sampan ride down the Mekong Delta sounds like a cool experience, even though it downpoured in the middle! That must have made for an even more authentic experience, and it is great to learn about how different snacks and candies are made.
The hikes in the rice paddies fields of Mai Chau was a truly unforgettable experience. The views are stunning, and it is amazing to learn about the lives of the people in the villages I visit. Thanks again!!

She organized everything from the visa to the hotels, internal flights, excursions, and dinners for two families who arrived in Vietnam on different days and in different places.

We were lucky to have Kate Tran as our trip coordinator. From the very beginning, she inspired us confidence enough to trust her with our entire trip's activities. She arranged from the visa, hotels, internal flights, tours and meals for the entire duration of the trip for two families arriving to Vietnam in different dates to different cities. Very flexible to add and adapt the activities while we were on the trip, simply fenomenal!
We landed in Ho Chi Minh and stayed couple of nights there. We visited the Mekong delta, Cu Chi tunnels and the city. After that we travelled to Da Nang via airplane and stayed in Hoi An for the next 5 days. We enjoyed a lot the town itself and visited the golden hands bridge and attended a show called Hoi An memories which was amazing (and we added it at the last moment thanks to our travel coordinator Kate). The next part of our trip was in Hanoi, where we met my sister and her family arriving from Australia. We did a city tour together and travelled by train to Sapa where we stayed couple nights, by bus to Tinh Minh and Halong bay to spend one night in a cruise.
We really enjoyed a lot Vietnam without worrying about transportation tours and meals thanks to Kate from Bestrate Travel who did a terrific work for us....Less

The places to stay were always centrally located in high-quality hotels that were pleasant, clean, and included breakfast, which was very appreciated. The flights were on excellent carriers, and the transfers were clean, well-maintained. Throughout the trip, all of our drivers and tour guides were dependable and made sure we were comfortable as we traveled to the next town, airport, or cruise terminal.

All of our guides were knowledgeable and very nice (Tom.the philosopher, Kian. the natural nice guy, Sunday. the entertainer, Trieu.the family man, Anna, the hardworking lady and Phong, the easygoing guy), we have learned a lot about Vietnam's history, food and people. All of our accommodations were very good, the staff were professional and helpful in all the places. We loved our time on Halong Bay, "Sena cruises" was a good choice, we enjoyed the traditional, smaller boat and the fantastic environment. I would suggest to anyone to stay two nights on the boat, you can see much more of the bay. We also enjoyed Hoi An a lot, with the nice old buildings and flowers everywhere. The tours and transportations were on time, everything was welll organized. I can wholeheartedly recommend Bestrate Travel.

We’re now back in the Philippines and relaxing after our Vietnam adventure. Before I do the formal review on Trip Advisor I wanted to give you some private feedback about our trip.
In regard to our tour guides the majority were very good with Tom, Candy and Mike being outstanding. Anna on the Ho Chi Minh tour was the exception since her English was difficult to understand and that we spent too much time at the Presidential Palace and not enough time at the Rearmament Museum. This should be reversed because a rushed visit to this museum doesn’t do it justice whereas the Palace is of much less interest.
In terms of hotels we loved the Hoi An Central. The HM Boutique has a great location but the rooms should be in the more spacious one with balcony that we had on our last night. Also, the hotel clerk wasn’t very welcoming when we arrived. As far as the Queen Ann a new hotel closer to the vibrant part of the city should be chosen. We were scared to cross the street and were never able to cross the big boulevard with the chaotic traffic.
In retrospect we would have appreciated an orientation with a guide upon our arrival in Ho Chi Minh. Bach did provide us with information on the ride to the hotel but more needs to be done to welcome and inform visitors. Luckily we had arranged for a private street food tour our first night which showed us the vibrancy of the city, something we weren’t able to do on our own.
Overall we had a great trip and were impressed with the efficiency and the itinerary of Best Travel. I will do a very positive review but I felt that sharing some of these private observations with you would help your company in planning future tours.

Hanoi Pearl Hotel was amazing! It's so close to the lake, so I can run around at 5.30 am. Besides, the hotel staff was so lovely that they were willing to keep our luggage until we returned to the city to take it. Also, the massage service here was outstanding. It cost $92 for a 90-minute massage for all 3 of us, which was the best we'd ever had. Everyone should stay at Hanoi Pearl and enjoy massage here daily, lol.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was a disappointment. The safety box in the room was malfunctioning. I locked it with my passport and valuable on the first day, but when I came back, the box was open. It was either opened by someone or broken (as the rods were sticking out). Great location to go anyplace. The smell from the toilet was not pleasant.

4.2. Hotel in Hoi An- Like Hoi An Hotel - Superior Room
The newest and most equipped hotel. A bit far away from the city centre. Bed bugs (I did ask them to change the sheet on the second day, but still there were some). They should have a better map of the vicinity. The hotel management was changed, so the current name is Golden Holiday. I wished they had their information package ready (they did not have any).

Although facility wise this was the shabbiest one (apart from the Lavender cruise), the breakfast was great. It was too noisy.

Otherwise, I would not be able to arrange all the transportation and bookings of the hotels. I had just assumed that Deluxe or Superior was much more than what was presented. Also, I had imagined that I would be travelling with others more often, but most of the time, I was alone. The guides tend to fill the space by regurgitating what they know, instead of allowing me to ask questions. Most of them speak very good English, but for some, it was so painful for me to understand their English (a non-native speaker myself, I should not say so, but….).

I don't mind the noise since location is accessible to all. Not pleasant experience on first 2 night stay as my sons bed is very uncomfortable.

Upon arriving in Ho Chi Minh, we met Chau. Her welcoming and friendly demeanor instantly put us at ease, and her knowledge of southern Vietnam was impeccable. Her level of service set the tone for the rest of our trip. Our next guide, Luc, met us in Da Nang, and he was equally amazing. We fell in love with Hoi An within five minutes of arriving and wished we could have stayed there forever. Our tour of Hue was excellent and fascinating, with the ancient city being one of our highlights.
Moving on to Hanoi, we met Tom, who was an absolute gem. Our foodie-walkie tour was so much fun, and his knowledge of the city's history was impressive. Visiting over my birthday, Vana arranged a surprise for me on board the Aphrodite Cruise, which was wonderful and made me feel special on a day when I was missing my family. The staff of the Aphrodite Cruise were also welcoming and friendly. We were thrilled to meet with Vana while in Hanoi.
The accommodations were unbelievable, with the Royal Hoi An MGallery being our favorite. Everything about this trip was incredible, and it was all thanks to Bestrate. We've even kept in touch with Vana since returning home and hope to welcome her to our country soon. We will 100% be back and booking with Bestrate again!

Good informative tour. Hotels, apart from Ruby River, were good. All hotel staff were excellent. Hotel locations were good. Guides were excellent as were the tours. Organisation, apart from one aspect in Hoi An, was very good.
Ruby River hotel was poor (small, décor all white, no chair) so got an upgrade for 2 of the 3 nights by paying an extra US$10/night per room (rooms were much bigger, more comfortable and had views of the city). At Hoi An, the bus driver said he couldn’t get close enough to the Sun Boat hotel and that he would organize for a taxi to take us. Once the bus had left, the taxi driver looked up where he was going and subsequently drove off leaving us. I hailed another taxi and paid 100,000 VND for the 30,000 VND trip as we just wanted to get to the hotel, which was very good by the way.

Upon arrival, everything was excellent. The tour content was interesting, and the guides spoke good English. They were always punctual, and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The itinerary was varied and engaging, the included meals were great, and the hotels were perfect for our family.

The hotels were fine especially the last night in Saigon and we enjoyed our last night in the 4 star hotel on the roof top pool area with a 360 vista of the city.
We had one cancelled flight (Vietjet 8.40pm from Da Nang to Hanoi was cancelled which meant we caught the 10.20pm that got us in to Hanoi after midnight) but we understand that Vietjet does this often especially from smaller airports like Da Nang. The main thing was Hanoi transfer was there waiting for us after midnight and transferred us to out hotel as quickly as possible. 2 days later, when we returned to Hanoi after Halong Bay, the same guide treated us to a very special street food tour of Hanoi that was unreal!
We will do a 5 star review for you on trip advisor in coming days and will certainly recommend you to all our Aussie friends who are planning a Vietnam trip...Less

We were able to see amazing, breathtaking locations from the south to the center to the north in just two weeks, all thanks to the expertise and care of Bestrate Travel. Seeing the Mekong River, Hoi An, Ninh Binh, Mai Chau Valley, and Ha Long Bay in person was the only way to fully appreciate their beauty.
We had a private trip with private car, driver, and guide, and they were all fantastic: helpful, friendly, informed, attentive, on time, and trully an expert.
There was also a sense of safety and protection for us.

Our 10-day trip through Vietnam was meticulously planned with the help of Bestrate Travel. Hien Kim was our advisor, and she arranged for us to remain at the accommodations I requested in each location, as well as day excursions and a cruise of Ha Long Bay. The decision to have her handle all the planning was a good one. We had our very own driver and advisor at every stop, and fascinating since our advisor was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We had a great time in Hanoi thanks to our guide, "Tom," who was flexible and did what we wanted to do when we were exhausted. Orchid Cruises' accommodations in Ha Long Bay left me speechless and it was the best part of our vacation. Nha Trang was an excellent way to round out our journey, and we had a wonderful time at The Anam Resort, which Hien had suggested. I plan to return to the same resort because it is a lovely and convenient location away from the hustle and bustle of Nha Trang's main drag.

It was wonderful how quickly Ms. Moon replied to our emails during the preparation stage and how often she checked in with us while we were on our trip. We were always picked up when and where we were supposed to be, and our tour guides never left us wondering what was next on the schedule.
We got in the habit of filling up in the mornings thanks to the hotel's generous complimentary meals. The provided meals varied in quality, but there was always plenty of food to go around.
When we were on our own for dinner, our guides were more than glad to offer recommendations. The hotels were helpful in arranging taxi rides and providing instructions to the sites we visited on our own. The private excursions that Ms. Moon organized for us were a wonderful added bonus.
We never once worried that we weren't getting the attention we deserved. Bestrate did an excellent job of easing our anxiety about adjusting to a foreign culture.

A little too busy for an 11 day tour, maybe some half day activities, was disappointed with the shuttle bus services provided by Mia (Nha Trang) and Palm Gardens (Hoi An), would have liked at least a bus every hour and running late into the night instead of finishing at 6pm…… particularly at Mia as we really didn’t get a chance to see Nha Trang itself.
With the Emperor cruise, it would have been better to make our own way to the wharf, or a Bestrte bus rather than use the Emperor Cruise shuttle bus as we spent almost 2.5 hours picking up other passengers at various other hotels in the area.
