8:30: Begin your journey in the serene town of Luang Prabang. After meeting the Mekong Kingdom's representative, board the Boheme Cruise, your elegant floating sanctuary.

Before setting off, take part in a traditional Baci ceremony to bless your voyage with harmony and good fortune. As the Boheme drifts away from the banks, a leisurely lunch awaits in the Dining Salon. Here, local ingredients and refined flavors come together as the scenery passes by.

Later, the cruise anchors near Ban Xang Hai, a small village known for its traditional rice whisky. Disembark for a tender ride to the legendary Pak Ou Caves, sacred grottoes that have sheltered thousands of Buddha images for centuries. The cool air within is thick with reverence; candlelight flickers across stone walls, illuminating countless statues in quiet devotion.



Returning to the main ship, continue downstream toward Ban Chan. The late afternoon light glows golden on the water, and the landscape softens into silhouettes as dusk approaches. On deck, enjoy a cocktail at sunset, the perfect moment to breathe in the stillness of the river.

As night falls, dine at leisure in the restaurant, where elegant dishes and gentle conversation accompany the lull of the water. The cruise moors quietly for the night near Ban Xang Hai, wrapped in the calm of the Mekong.

Arriving at Ban Chan Neua, the Pottery Village, time seems to move gently. You can see a compact cluster of workshops where kiln-fired pots and earthenware line the yards. Enjoy a short, hands-on pottery session: feel the wheel’s gentle resistance, shape clay with guidance from local artisans, and take home a small piece you made.

Afterward, we return to the Boheme Cruise for a tasty lunch on board.

You will have the chance to join an interactive Lao cooking class to learn a few simple regional dishes and techniques, followed by a cocktail masterclass where you’ll try your hand at mixing a signature drink inspired by local flavours.

As evening approaches, relax with a cocktail hour on deck, then dine at leisure in the Dining Salon. Overnight mooring will be in the vicinity of Xayaboury Dam, with the gentle sounds of the river as your backdrop.

Today’s highlight is a visit to the Xayaboury Elephant Conservation Centre, where rescued elephants roam freely in their natural environment. Observe these gentle giants as they bathe, play, and interact with their mahouts. Learn about the centre’s dedicated efforts to protect and rehabilitate elephants in Laos, and enjoy a peaceful walk through forested trails overlooking the tranquil lake.

Return to the Boheme Cruise for lunch before setting sail upstream toward Muang Khay. The afternoon drifts by with quiet river scenes, lush hills, wooden houses tucked between palm groves, and fishermen gliding over still waters.

As evening falls, unwind with cocktails on deck followed by dinner at leisure. The cruise ship moors overnight at Muang Khay, surrounded by the calm rhythm of the river.

Your first excursion takes you to the breathtaking Kuang Si Waterfalls, a natural wonder cascading through tiers of turquoise pools surrounded by lush tropical forest. Walk along shaded trails, listen to the soothing rush of water, and, if you wish, dip your feet into the cool, crystal-clear streams.



Continue to the Laos Buffalo Dairy Farm, where playful water buffalo graze in open fields. Learn how fresh milk is turned into creamy local cheese and enjoy a light buffalo cheese tasting while discovering how this sustainable project supports the surrounding communities.

After lunch onboard, we visit Ban Xang Khong, a peaceful riverside village known for its traditional Saa paper making. Watch artisans transform mulberry bark into delicate handmade paper, then enjoy a local tea tasting amid the soft scent of dried leaves and fresh fibers.

Return to the Boheme Cruise in the late afternoon. As the sun begins to set, the cruise glides gently back toward Luang Prabang, where you will disembark around 18:00. Your Mekong journey comes to a graceful close.
